CAERN/WYLD[]
- Megan has begun spreading word of an odd event which happened at the Caern late this month. While Megan and Kristine went into the Umbra there to teach Morgan about the Shadow, a thickening of the fog, embedded with strange flashing lights, seemed to attack Kristine and cause her pain. Robert, alerted by the Wards, arrived, and somehow managed to banish the spirit without any apparent adverse effects, but not before it emoted/said the sensation/word 'Pain'. From Megan's sensing, it doesn't seem to be Wyrm, but Nightflash, who was in the Realm at the time, seemed to detect Wyld'ness about it. Kristine suffered no undue effects, but has been overheard to be discussing visions she had with Joseph.
CITY[]
- What's this new place frequented by so many Garou and kinfolk? Fragrant Planet, at the intersection of Ellicott and Silver in midtown, has a strange draw it seems for Black Fury kin, including Sally MacKay who spent a full Saturday bathing in the front window display (wearing only bubbles and a smile), and Teddy, the assistant manager. It is rumored that Shadow Lords, Silent Striders, and even kinfolk of the Silver Fangs have had dealings in this place, both during regular hours and after closing. Is it possible the handcrafted soap is that much of a draw?
PEOPLE[]
- A newcomer, a Fianna by the name of Diarmuid, showed up at the Farmhouse this month and caused a minor stir amidst the residents there. His introduction to Brian included the latter giving him a thrashing out in the barn and the standard one month to give chiminage or ship-out.
- After a couple months of scarcity, Megan has returned to being around more, although she's spending more times in the woods around the Bawn and Grotto than the Farmhouse than she did before she disappeared back in November.
- The mysterious, quirky Shadow Lord athlete, Haslin, returned after Christmas to St. Claire following a six month absence. He has scandalized the traditional view of his tribe by opening a soap boutique, The Fragrant Planet, in midtown. His coming may have had something to do with the arrival of a new female cub to Shadow Lord territory. He has also passed on, through the Silent Strider messenger Collin, an offer to buy herbs from cubs of the Sept. You can recognize him by his tattoo.
CUBS[]
- Sepdet and Louisa dropped off another new cub, this one a Strider named Skye, at the farmhouse around the middle of the month.
- Recently, a new Cub for the Children of Gaia, Kevin, was brought to Arthur's Island. It's been discovered that Kevin is a Philodox.
